T-section is a useful length of metal as an edging strip in a huge number of applications. Aluminium is favoured over steel for a number of reasons largely attributed to the fact that it is a non-ferrous metal.
Non-ferrous metals do not contain any iron, which means that they are far lighter than ferrous materials such as steel, in addition to being non-magnetic and highly resistant to corrosion. This is advantageous in a number of applications, particularly in damp or marine conditions where a ferrous metal such as steel would weaken through to rust.
Please note: Our current machines operate to a tolerance of +/- 2mm. Please enter your desired dimensions below to the nearest whole mm.
