6mm x 2500mm steel bar bent around a tree trunk

Hard to see but the flat bar was rolled into a hoop and welded together then heated and shrank on to that wooden wheel.

Used mild steel flat bar, bent, drilled, notched and screwed to the side of my garden pond plus some garden wire to prevent the frequent heron fishing trips!

A pair of 1200mm wide planter boxes were made using planed red cedar for the panels, treated C16 timber for the base, and mild steel angle for the legs. The legs were drilled and spray painted black. The inside sides of the boxes were lined with heavy gauge polythene sheet whilst the base was lined with garden fabric to allow for drainage.

We needed a table that was strong enough to take the weight of our toddler grandson

This was a 3m length of 150mm x 3mm mild steel bar which can be pegged into a perfect curve. Over time the steel will take on an attractive Corten steel look.

Used just 100mm x 3mm mild steel bar for this lawn edging. This has been in place for several months and has taken on an attractive Corten steel look.
