Steel is unmatched in its unique combination of formability, strength and versatility; making it suitable for a huge number of construction and structural applications, amongst many others. It likely has the widest range of uses of any material, and it is used all over the world to create large and small components in high-tech, low-tech, everyday and specialist products. Nothing is manufactured, transported or processed without the use of steel.
Mild steel angle has many practical uses including the construction of fences or trailers, and is often used as fence posts. It provides a reliable and sound structure and will also be widely recycled, making it a very ‘green’ choice of material.
Mild steel is a low cost steel material with terrific versatility. This versatility is attributed chiefly to the relatively low carbon content which makes the metal easily worked and formed, and it is the key feature which makes mild steel components popular in huge number of industries from the manufacturing of domestic appliances to the agricultural and heavy machinery industry.
