My initial order contained some round bar of the wrong size. Spoke to excellent sales agent on the phone who apologised, said I should keep the incorrect size FOC, and immediately posted the correct product which arrived by return the next day at no extra cost to me. I have only modest need for small quantities of steel, but I will go to Austen Knapman every time.

Arrived very quickly, exactly how I needed it. It was the right measurement as requested, a solid bar very happy with it would gigku recommend this company.
The products arrived promptly and as expected. The only moan I have is about the delivery service that was used. The driver left them on the front doorstep, I asked if the package was heavy and the driver replied'yes' and then just drove off. Was not happy with that as the package was quite heavy and difficult for my wife to take around the back.

Order 6mm steel rods to use in garden as suggested by Monty Don and they were perfect. Bent some and also cut some in half to support taller plants. Ordered rods on 7th June and delivered by 9th June so excellent service so big thanks to you all.
