See the Monty Don video to see how to make VFM supports for garden plants. These 6mm bars do the job nicely (be sure to order at least 2.5m lengths) and they quickly turn a pleasant rust colour. You always need more than you think unless you have a really small garden, so order a decent number. They are a bit mucky (these are steel rods) so wear good gloves and cleanable clothes when handling. Good quick service, very pleased.

My initial order contained some round bar of the wrong size. Spoke to excellent sales agent on the phone who apologised, said I should keep the incorrect size FOC, and immediately posted the correct product which arrived by return the next day at no extra cost to me. I have only modest need for small quantities of steel, but I will go to Austen Knapman every time.
