This was a brilliant option. Rebar cut to size so I wasn't locked in to what local merchants offered (i.e. the bulk standard and too long for my purposes). All things considered the price was reasonable and shipped from Devon to Gloucestershire for less than a tenner. Emails from AK kept me informed of progress. Couldn't ask for more. Would not hesitate to buy again in the future.

My local metal supplier is so expensive it makes projects to expensive to do so I was glad to find Austen Knapman online who's prices are very keen. Sadly the postage gives it a big bump up but the posting steel is never going to be cheap. Great service good product. Only thing I would say is that whilst I know steel comes oily and dirty, a wipe with a rag wouldn't go amiss before posting, it's not going to rust in the post and my hands were filthy just in wrapping it. Will definitely use again.
