I was looking for fence posts. This item was identical with "iron fence posts" sold in garden sites at up to 3 times the cost. The only difference was that these reqired painting before use. The flip side of this was that it gave a choice of colour. The website worked well and delivery was faster than I could have had from a local garden centre.
My first order with Austen Knapman. I telephoned customer service for some advice and then ordered on line, product was delivered very quickly. Fantastic service .

Ordered length of mild steel tube and was very pleased with the speed of the order confirmation response.Was advised that delivery would be four days.This was acceptable to me but although i live in the north east of Scotland was surprised to receive the goods in around three days.Cannot praise this company and their delivery people enough.Excellent service. I needed 30 galvanised poles cut to 600mm lengths, to be used as part of 15 bespoke bike racks, this was a rush job. Ordered on line on the weekend, backed it up with a phone call Monday morning, I spoke to a very helpful young lady, explained the urgency of this order, it was delivered Wednesday am. The parcels were well wrapped in sensible size groups so not too heavy, all cut ends had been cleaned up so no sharp edges. All told, an excellent service, Austen Knapman will be my first port of call, next time I need help with metal products.

I ordered some mild steel tube and it arrived very quickly. It was well packaged. What more could you ask for?
After the winy weather recently my fruit cage was buckled and broken beyond repair. Angle iron seemed like the best long term solution. I was delighted with the ease of ordering, the advice given over the phone, and the speed of delivery. I was amazed that 5m + lengths could be courier delivered without any problem. And calculating my requirements was easy using the online calculator provided. The material was cut to millimetre accuracy, ready for drilling and painting. I am very satisfied with the result, Thank you.
My order was placed late one evening I received confirmation of my order directly, the following day I received two further emails firstly informing me my order was being processed and then later on a further email to tell me my order had been despatched. This was received the next day very well packaged.
