The ridges in this bar are great for a secure placement. Difficult to pull out if I've got it in the wrong place. As with the flat bar, I use it in landscaping to support large branches on the edges of banks and flower beds. The ground is rocky, so the round bar is easier to hammer in.
Great for holding up large branches that I use on the edges of banks and flower beds. I've also used it as uprights with willow branches weaved between to hold back a vertical bank. I use different sizes depending on weight of branch, etc

It makes a VERY pleasant change that an industrial supplier will sell 'bits and pieces' to the general public. No minimum order, easy ordering online and competitive prices means that small amounts of smaller steel sections can be bought at a reasonable cost instead of being ripped off by the big DIY stores. I use small steel sections for vehicle modifications, and will be using the service again. Also the staff at Plymouth are helpful and pleasant.
