The item I ordered arrived on time and cut to the specified dimensions. Whilst I thought the price to be reasonable, I thought the delivery costs astronomical!

I was looking for fence posts. This item was identical with "iron fence posts" sold in garden sites at up to 3 times the cost. The only difference was that these reqired painting before use. The flip side of this was that it gave a choice of colour. The website worked well and delivery was faster than I could have had from a local garden centre.

Ordered length of mild steel tube and was very pleased with the speed of the order confirmation response.Was advised that delivery would be four days.This was acceptable to me but although i live in the north east of Scotland was surprised to receive the goods in around three days.Cannot praise this company and their delivery people enough.Excellent service. I needed 30 galvanised poles cut to 600mm lengths, to be used as part of 15 bespoke bike racks, this was a rush job. Ordered on line on the weekend, backed it up with a phone call Monday morning, I spoke to a very helpful young lady, explained the urgency of this order, it was delivered Wednesday am. The parcels were well wrapped in sensible size groups so not too heavy, all cut ends had been cleaned up so no sharp edges. All told, an excellent service, Austen Knapman will be my first port of call, next time I need help with metal products.
